Privacy
Last updated 16 October 2026- Who we are
- Halfie (halfie.co.uk). We decide how the personal data described here is used. Email hello@halfie.co.uk about anything to do with your data.
- Requesting a demo
- Your name, work email and website. They go to our team's chat (Discord) so we can reply, and we use them to arrange the demo and to follow up afterwards.
- Trying Halfie
- The website address and work email you give your AI, a private copy of your public website made for you, and the changes you and your AI make to it. We use them to run your trial and to talk to you about it.
- As a customer
- Your team's email addresses and roles, a record of every change (what, when and who asked), your site's code, and what your site's visitors send through its forms. For your visitors' data, you decide what it's for; we keep it and process it for you.
- This website
- Cloudflare, which serves the site, keeps standard request logs (such as IP addresses) to keep it secure. There are no analytics and no advertising trackers.
- Who helps us
- Cloudflare (hosting, site databases in Western Europe, sending email), Supabase (Halfie's own records, in Frankfurt), GitHub (your site's code), Resend (email from your own domain, Ireland region) and Discord (our team's chat, for demo requests). Some are US companies; where data leaves the UK or EU, it's protected by the safeguards UK data-protection law requires.
- How long
- Demo requests and emails: as long as we need to follow up. Trial copies: until you ask us to delete them, or we clear out ones nobody uses. Customer data: while you're a customer; when you leave, we hand your site over and then delete it.
- Never
- We don't sell your data or use it for advertising.
- Your rights
- Ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop using it: hello@halfie.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Terms
Last updated 16 October 2026- The service
- Halfie hosts your website, runs what it needs (your domain, security, a database, sending email, checks and rollback) and lets you and your AI change it. What each plan includes and costs is on our Pricing page.
- Trying it
- Trying Halfie is free. Nothing goes live and nothing is charged until you choose to go live.
- Plans and payment
- Plans have a one-month minimum term, then run month to month, per account, with unlimited sites. Prices are before VAT: UK businesses are charged VAT, and EU businesses account for it under the reverse charge. Change plan, up or down, whenever you're ready.
- Using it fairly
- Only use Halfie for websites you own or are allowed to manage. Nothing unlawful, harmful or that infringes someone else's rights, and no attempts to break or overload Halfie or anyone else's site.
- Your site
- You're responsible for what you and your AI put live, and for your site's content and your visitors' data. Our checks catch changes that don't build; they don't judge what your site says.
- Ownership
- The code for your site is yours, and portable. We keep only what we need to run it.
- Leaving
- There's no contract to sit out: tell us by email when you want to leave. We transfer the codebase to you, and help you point your domain wherever you take your site.
- Keeping it running
- We work to keep every site up. Live sites keep running even when the rest of Halfie is down for maintenance.
- Liability
- As far as the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you've paid us in the 12 months before a claim. Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.
- Changes
- If these terms change, we'll tell customers by email before the change applies.
- Governing law
- England and Wales.
